NASA spots 'tadpole crater' on Mars

NASA has shared an image of a tadpole-shaped crater taken by its Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). Based on the terrain-height information, scientists inferred that the water in the tadpole crater was flowing down and outward. Observing images of craters on Mars provides scientists insight into the Red Planet's history of water activity, said NASA.
